Where it all began in the words of Dr. Theresa Pigott:

"Making the feather fans is a sacred calling for me. It started when a Canadian Goose died on the
front lawn at the office, and it literally “spoke to me” and told me to “take my wings”. This medicine
tool is my most precious tool to date. Since that time, many different types of birds have come to
me, and I give them a proper burial and use their wings if given permission.
I now have a source for the wings and feathers from an ethical hunter who eats the meat and
renders the wings for this purpose. 

FEATHER FANS are created in Sacred Space and take directions from the beautiful Spirit of the
winged ones. The leather is natural deer hides. Rabbit fur is also used for adornment and comfort in
one’s hand. The fans are decorated with a crystal or natural stone. No two fans are alike and are
custom handmade."
