The set of 12 Peruvian Chumpi Stones are associated with the 12 mountains in the Sacred Valley near Cusco in Peru. These delicately hand-carved, alabaster-like stones are used by some shamanic practitioners in their ceremonial healings. Each stone measures approximately 1.25 - 1.5 inches in size.

Masterfully hand carved alabaster-like Apu de 7 Puntas Stone, or Mountain of Seven Points Stone, embodies the energy of the Apus, mountain spirits, and displays the Andean cosmology symbols.

This stone features the carvings of amaru, the sacred serpent Sachamama; Otorongo, the jaguar, and Kuntor, or Apuchin-Condor, among others. This special edition 'Alto-Relievo' style set of 7 Peruvian Chumpi Stones is associated with the mountains in the Sacred Valley near Cusco in Peru. Alto-Relievo or high-relief, is a classical form of sculpture where images protrude from the background. Chumpi stones are ancient healing stones that are used by some shamanic practitioners as rites of passage and in their ceremonial healings. Q'ero shamans believe that each mountain has its own spirit, which is represented in each of these seven stones. These are magnificent high-relief, hand-carved, alabaster stones.  Each stone measures approximately 2-3 inches in size.
