We lace the drums onto a Maple frame with a separate piece of rawhide for even pressure, preventing tearing. The drum handles are wrapped in leather and made so you can slide your hand underneath so it fits like a glove! Every Native American hoop drum order includes a buckskin beater!

Standard style with a plain white head so you can decorate it with your own muse or just leave it as is. Manufactured with Remo's Fiberskyn 3 drumhead and patented ACOUSTICON drum shell. Shell produces the same tonal characteristic found on traditional wood shell drums with excellent projection and enhanced low-pitched fundamentals.

This High-Quality Tibetan Hand Drum (Damaru) is a two-headed drum with a shiny finish handmade with care in Nepal. It has significance in both Hinduism and Buddhism. In Hinduism, the damru is known as the instrument of the deity Shiva. In Tibetan Buddhism, the damaru is used as an instrument in tantric practices.

This Damaru comes with a brocade cover. The beautiful and colorful religious Chukor is attached to the damaru.

Tibetan Hand Drums (Damarus) like this are the type used by shamans and lamas alike to invoke trance and spirit. Played in the right hand while the Tibetan flat bell (shang) is played in the left.

The 5" drum head is made from goat hide. It comes with matching brocade carrying case with shoulder strap. The color of the drum carrying case does vary due to the handmade nature of the product.
