A limited-time offering that was created to be enjoyed all summer long. The herbs in this blend were carefully chosen as a celebration of the sun and of ritual. We gathered herbs from two different small, local Michigan farms that have built deep relationships with the land and the plants to be featured in this summer solstice blend.
Intended to be used in rituals or ceremonies throughout the summer. It’s also a great tea to cool down and calm down with.
Steep 1-2 tablespoons of tea in 8oz of hot water (212°F) for 8-10 minutes, or in the Summer sun for at least 1 hour. You can place the herbs in a large jar, strain, cool in the fridge, stir in a bit of honey & enjoy!
This Summer Solstice herbal blend includes mints to cool the body, tulsi to calm the body, and calendula to bring that brightness of the sun into the tea ☀
Ingredients:
Lemon Balm - Gives relief from the sun & gladdens the hearts. Lemon balm is a nervine, digestive, antidepressant, antispasmodic, and has a calming effect on the digestive system - good to use for heartburn, nervous indigestion, gas, and nausea.
Tulsi - A truly sacred plant that is native to India that encourages ritual and mindfulness. This plant is an adaptogen, an antidepressant, and improves energy in a subtle way.
Peppermint - A gentle pick me up, especially paired with tulsi. Peppermint is here to revitalize and refresh you! This plant is also great for the digestive system.
Calendula - A sacred flower in many cultures that represents the sun in ritual and is associated with the fire element. Calendula brings the energy of the sun for a brighter disposition and helps us to make full use of the energy we already possess. This plant is an anti-inflammatory, digestive, and heartburn healer that helps activate the lymphatic system and builds immunity. Calendula is packed with antioxidants and helps move stagnation for warming, and healthy circulation.
