The creator of this exquisitely crafted Peruvian area rug used bright colors for the geometric motifs, Chakana symbols and bird shapes. Animals are very common symbols in traditional Andean weaving. For floor use or hang as a warm tapestry.

Measures approximately 3' x 5' (62" H x 46" W) and weighs about 2.5 lbs. One inch of delicate golden oat brown fringe along two ends.

A private collection. We have some used items from close friends of ours. They traveled extensivly throughout South America over several decades. Exploring indigenous cultures and working with various native helaers and shamans.
