These cones stay lit longer than a Palo Santo stick so you can enjoy the relaxing scent longer. Each incense cone burns for approximately 25 minutes, elevating a space to be lightly fragranced in under an hour.
Sustainability initiative
10% of profits from the sales of the Palo Santo Cones will go to the reforestation of Palo Santo trees and the preservation of the fragile Tropical Dry forest of Northern Peru. Our partner, Area Conservación Privada Mangamanguilla, is reforesting Palo Santo trees in the rare and diverse ecosystem that is home to Palo Santo – holy wood (Bursera Graveolens) with the support of your purchase.
Mangamanguilla Private Conservation Area in Piura, Peru, is a phenomenal and beautiful place, with a remarkable grassroots conservation program. The program helps supports the people of Mangamanguilla, a rural village in the Piura region of Peru. In 2016, SERNANP (Peru's environmental agency) designated the Área Conservación Privada Mangamanguilla as a private reserve, legally protecting 1,738 hectares of critically endangered dry forest habitat.
Instructions:
- Light the end of the incense cone at a slight angle with a lighter or match, and allow the flame to burn for approximately 10-15 seconds, enough to create a small flame.
- Carefully blow on the flame to extinguish. The incense cone should produce a glowing red ember and a swirl of smoke, and will continue to burn on its own.
- Be sure to burn incense on a heatproof, non-flammable holder only. Please note that the bottom of the incense cone may leave a residual stain on ceramic holders while burning.
- Burn incense in a well-ventilated room, away from flammable materials, and never leave incense burning unattended or in near children, pets, or a draft.
- Recycle or repurpose the incense boxes, they can be reused after use as storage - or whatever you want!
